Holt was shot shortly after 8 p.m. on Thursday, Sept. 3, inside a home on the 400 block of Ethels Way in Salisbury, according to Maryland State Police. She leaves behind a 9-year-old son and 9-month-old daughter. Her reported boyfriend, Gage Mitchell, 29, was charged in connection with her murder.
