Same County Where Trump Was Shot Now Has ISIS Terrorism Indictment: DOJ
A Butler County, Pennsylvania man has been indicted on a federal firearms charge tied to an alleged plan to support ISIS, prosecutors announced Tuesday, Oct. 6.
Jonathan Hunter Kramer, 21, of Valencia, knowingly received a semiautomatic rifle and rifle ammunition on Saturday, Sept. 12, knowing they would be used to commit a felony or federal terrorism crime, including supporting ISIS, a federal grand jury in Pittsburgh charged.
Kramer remains detained pending trial. The one-count indictment carries a maximum sentence of 15 years in prison, a $250,000 fine, or both.

A 13-year-old girl called 911 during an alleged assault by an adult at a Bergen County home, leading to his arrest on strangulation and other charges, police said.
Officers were called to the home around 2:47 a.m. on Saturday, Oct. 3, after the girl reported a domestic disturbance involving the adult, Oradell Police Chief David Gangemi said.
Officers Bahadourian and Viscito responded and investigated the disturbance, interviewing those involved, Gangemi said.

Caregiver Caught Stealing From Bergen County Home, Police Say
A caregiver for children with special needs was arrested after a Bergen County family found him going through their disabled child’s bedroom drawers with a flashlight, authorities said.
The family returned to their Mahwah home early Friday, Oct. 2, and discovered the caretaker in the bedroom, according to a Mahwah Police Department press release. Nothing appeared to be missing that morning, but the family had previously reported several thousand dollars stolen from the home, police said.

A New York City man being treated at a Long Island hospital punched two nurses who were caring for him Monday, Oct. 5, police said.
Oshane Bernard, 36, of Queens, was arrested at the scene at North Shore University Hospital in Manhasset, the Nassau County Police Department said.
Cops responded to an assault report inside the hospital around 3:30 p.m. Monday, authorities said. Inside, they learned Bernard became agitated and struck two nurses with a closed fist, according to police.
