NORTHBOROUGH, Mass. — Four members of the Algonquin girls varsity field hockey team recently had the experience of a lifetime last week when they met five-time World Field Hockey Player of the Year Jamie Dwyer.
Kate Sears, Emily Hart, Maggie Wraight and Molly Dore attended Dwyer's field hockey clinic at Columbia University on Sept. 30.
Dwyer, Australia's all-time leading goal scorer, holds three Olympic medals: One gold medal in 2004 and two bronze medals in 2008 and 2012.
