SOUTHBOROUGH, Mass. — Philip Cole, of Southborough, is one of more than 1,440 to be named a candidate for a degree from the University of Kansas.
Cole, a graduate of Algonquin Regional High School, is the son of Kenneth and Maryanne Cole, from Southborough. He received a bachelor of science in business and finance and an economics minor.
Graduate and undergraduate degrees are conferred in December based on work completed during the fall semester. Because KU conducts only one formal commencement each year, many students graduating in the fall or summer terms will return Sunday, May 19, for the traditional walk down the Hill into Memorial Stadium for the ceremony.
