SOUTHBOROUGH, Mass. — Southborough police are warning residents to keep a close eye on their packages this holiday season.

"We have had a few reported incidents of packages being stolen from residents' doorsteps," police wrote on their Facebook page. "If you are having a package delivered to your home, you may want to ask a neighbor or family member to keep an eye out for it."

Police also advised residents to monitor their packages' tracking information so they know the  expected delivery date. "By doing this, you'll be able to report a stolen item immediately."
