SOUTHBOROUGH, Mass. — A 48-year-old Southborough man, arrested in September for driving with a suspended license while under the influence of alcohol, has been sentenced to two years and ten days in the Worcester House of Corrections and a ten-year loss of license.

Jeffrey Lee, of 48 Richards Road, was arrested on Sept. 27 after Southborough police received a call about a man in the backyard of an unoccupied home on Richards Road that was for sale at the time. The caller confronted the man, later identified as Lee, who then drove off toward Atwood Drive.

Police who pulled him over said Lee was having “trouble on his feet” and “trouble understanding instructions.” He also had glassy eyes and smelled of alcohol, according to police, who reported that his blood alcohol content was more than 2.0 in two separate tests.

This was Lee’s fourth OUI offense. The court recommended that he attend a rehab facility in Springfield, Mass.
