Last fall during the Hopkinton debate for state representative, Carolyn Dykema changed her position on putting committee votes online. Despite voting against it twice, she pledged moving forward that she would vote in favor of letting the public know about these votes by putting them online.
Unfortunately, she did not keep that commitment. Only three roll calls into the new session, she broke that promise! That’s right, the third vote of the year she went back on her word.
Committee votes should be online so the public can see them. It is disappointing that Rep. Dykema says one thing during the heat of the campaign and does the opposite at the State House. She owes her constituents an apology.

Not a mouthpiece, a friend. You should try to understand the difference. It would help you know that I'm not going away, despite all your aliases, fakery, and bad faith.
Kelly Roney is a mouthpiece for Dykema and he is lying just like her.
Dykema filed a bill that will not turn into anything real. Under the House rules it is a matter previously considered and would be ruled out of order.
This is just a smoke screen. During the recent rules debate, she could have voted for 26 measures to create more transparency, but she did not.
It's all spin by a politician who votes with the Speaker and wants to hide it.
Ms Dykema and her trolls just keep making lame excuses and digging the whole deeper and deeper.
Dykema lied. Her mouthpieces and surrogates who post are lying. They all lie, because they are trapped and have nothing to say, just squirm and squeal about it.
These are facts that cannot be denied no matter how much whining and moaning and complaining the Dykema camp does. They are dishonest and couldn't see the truth if it hit them in the face. They are blind robots.

She is such a disappointment. One would think a person would live up to their own words. She outright LIED to us, her constituents! Why can't our pols do anything good for us regular joes rather than trying to further their own careers! She's like all the other dems in the State House...always following the Speaker, like sheep. WHY CAN'T YOU THINK FOR YOURSELF? Oh, that's right, you're afraid if you go against your party you won't get re-elected.
WHAT A DISAPPOINTMENT!
With arrogance and disdain for the voters so typical of this new generation of 'liberal government elites' - Dykema brazenly lied through her pretty teeth last fall to get re-elected.
Then it was back to business as usual.
She's voted EXACTLY the way the Speaker tells her to. The only thing 'transparent' is her stiff-arming the people of her district.
Her local cheer leaders won't care. They'll defend her arrogance to the death. All those union guys who turned out for her - do you think they care about votes posted on line? They too do exactly what they're told.
When will Mass voters wake up, and rise up to break this cycle?
Come 2014, Dykema will again be making the rounds, asking for donations and telling you what a great job she's been doing. Will you buy it again, - or will you remember her lies?

She said during the Hopkinton debate last fall that it was a mistake to vote against putting these votes online. She said she would vote the other way if re-elected. Any teenager can do it.
Ms Dykema should never have been re-elected. This is the reason why. She says one thing and does another. She doesn't give a wit about promises to voters. They are empty words. All she cares about is being a Boston pol. She's part of the Beacon Hill gang that votes lock step with the Speaker from Winthrop. She doesn't give a wit about representing constituents in the district.
