SOUTHBOROUGH, Mass. - Pauline A. “Sister’ (Barry) True, 74, of Southborough, died on Thursday, Oct. 18, 2012 after a battle with cancer. She was the wife of the Reginald True who passed away in 1997.
She is survived by her children, Kevin Simard of Westborough; Michael Simard and his wife Joan of Westfield; Kathleen Simard of Southborough; two sisters, Rose Gomes of Cambridge; Eileen Masci of Somerville; four grandchildren, Nycole and Kendal Simard and Maggie and Alison Simard. She is pre-deceased by her brothers, Thomas “Buddy” Barry, Francis “Mickey” Barry, and Robert “Bobby” Barry.
Born in Cambridge, she was the daughter of the late Thomas and Edna (Sheridan) Barry.
Pauline was a graduate of St Mary’s High School in Cambridge, and was a home maker until her children were grown. She then worked for the food service at Boston College for over 16 years, retiring in 1998. Pauline enjoyed puzzles, quilting, and trips to Maine.
Visiting hours will be held on Monday, Oct. 22, from 5 to 7 p.m. at the Morris Funeral Home, 40 Main St. Southborough. A graveside service will be held on Tuesday, Oct. 23, at
2 p.m. at Mount Hope Cemetery, 1048 State Street, Bangor, ME.
