What's Closed, Canceled In Southborough Due To Storm

SOUTHBOROUGH, Mass. — Now that the snow is starting to accumulate, here's a list of what's closed or canceled in Southborough so far. We'll update this list as more information becomes available.

Closed

  • All Northborough and Southborough public schools are closed today. St. Mark's and St. Fay also are closed.
  • The Southborough Library will close today at 1 p.m. and will stay closed all day Saturday. 
  • The transfer station will close at 3 p.m. today and will remain closed all day Saturday.
  • The Commuter Rail will shut down at 3:30 p.m.

Canceled/Postponed

  • The Neary Drama Club's performance of Disney's "The Little Mermaid, Jr." that was scheduled for tonight and Saturday has been postponed to 7 p.m. Tuesday and Thursday, respectively. The matinee show scheduled for 2 p.m. Sunday is expected to go on at Trottier Middle School.
  • The Beals Preserve snowshoe clinic, sponsored by the Southborough Open Land Foundation and Eastern Mountain Sports, has been canceled. If they are able to reschedule, that information will be posted on the foundation's website.
  • The Boys Scouts Valentine's Day Lunch for Southborough seniors scheduled for Saturday has been postponed. A new date has not yet been chosen.
  • The Southborough Democrats caucus has been rescheduled to Saturday, March 2 at the Southborough Library at 11 a.m.
