SOUTHBOROUGH, Mass. — Hundreds of National Grid customers in Southborough who were without power Tuesday now have it, according to the utility.

An estimated 534 customers were still without power as of noon Wednesday, representing about 13 percent of the town's customer base. National Grid estimates that power will not return completely for all customers until Friday.

Southborough police report that many of the roads that were blocked on Tuesday have now been opened, including Framingham Road and East Main Street.

Meanwhile, all schools in both Northborough and Southborough got their power back overnight, allowing students to return to the classroom after two days off.
