WORCESTER, Mass. - Commuter rail service from Boston to Worcester will be suspended at 2 p.m. Monday as the area braces for the worst of Hurricane Sandy.
The National Weather Service has issued a high wind warning for most of the region through Monday night, with widespread power outages possible.
The MBTA will also be closing down rail service system-wide -- including the Red, Blue, Orange and Green lines in the Boston area -- at 2 p.m.
No trains will leave North and South stations after 2 p.m.
