SOUTHBOROUGH, Mass. — The Friends of Southborough Recreation would like to thank all the sponsors and volunteers who helped make this year's Gobble Wobble 5K road race a success.
Approximately 75 volunteers helped put on a race that drew more than 1,000 runners from all the surrounding towns.
According to Melissa Shields, president of the Friends of Southborough Recreation, the event drew many donations for the Southborough Food Pantry and service members deployed overseas.
