SOUTHBOROUGH, Mass. — Here's a quick look at some events going on in Southborough and the surrounding area this weekend:
Friday, Oct. 5
Varsity Field Hockey, 4 p.m. — Algonquin will play Leominster at Leominster High School.
Varsity Football, 4 p.m. — Algonquin will face Hudson at Hudson High School.
Girls Varsity Volleyball, 4:45 p.m. — Algonquin will play North Middlesex at North Middlesex Regional High School.
Saturday, Oct. 6
Varsity Soccer, 2 p.m. (Boys) and 4 p.m. (Girls) — Algonquin will play Marlborough High School at Kelleher Field, Marlborough.
The Dons, 10 p.m. — This Boston-based cover band will play at the British Beer Company on Route 9 in Framingham.
Sunday, Oct. 7
Historical Society Museum, 2 to 6 p.m. — As part of Southborough's Heritage Day celebrations, the Historical Society will hold an open house at its museum.
Pumpkin Viewingı, 4 to 6 p.m. — Check out the Light Up Southborough pumpkin viewing, featuring carved pumpkins from all over town.
