SOUTHBOROUGH, Mass. — The Friends of Southborough Recreation are seeking volunteers for the 6th Annual Gobble Wobble, which will be held on Thanksgiving morning, Nov. 22.
The Gobble Wobble, which will be held at Trottier Middle School, includes a 5K road race, a two-mile family walk and a "fun run" for kids. According to the Friends of the Southborough Recreation, the event regularly attracts more than 1,000 participants each year.
To volunteer, visit the Friends of the Southborough Recreation website or contact Melissa Shields or Doreen Ferguson. The event will begin at 8:30 a.m. with the 5K race, followed by the "fun run" at 9:30 a.m.
Those who wish to participate in the races may do so here. The cost is $25. Cash prizes will be awarded to the male and female first place, second place and third place finishers.
